Prayer is precious time spent with God;
in His holy presence of truth, love & grace.
It is a blessed opportunity to seek & adhere to His will.
Prayer is a time of great intimacy where the Heavenly Father and His children connect and bond through the sharing of their hearts. A time where the child gives their heart, and where more importantly God reveals His. Prayer is sacred ground that God's children walk in faith to offer Him their gratitude, praise, innermost thoughts, struggles, hurts, joys and desires.
Pray always and pray everywhere, as God does not require fancy words, elaborate environments, or rituals to receive and answer prayers. God delights when His children hold nothing back and come before Him whole-heartedly and confidently wherever they are. Our only requirement when we pray is to sincerely seek, honestly speak, earnestly listen, and reverently trust God.
Prayer is a personal and profound two-way conversation between Father and child. God yearns for an intimate relationship with His children that is anchored in prayer. A genuine relationship where each child lovingly, courageously, and expectantly draws into Him by pouring out, surrendering, and opening their hearts to Him - so He can pour His in. An essential part of prayer is for us to be still so we can hear God's voice and guidance.
God designed prayer as a divine vessel for Him to minister and manifest through, and for us to unite with Him. Prayer is a time to be in communion with God and to have a sincere conversation where we should listen more than we speak. A time to heed God's voice and will. Prayer loses its beauty, power, and essence if used to exalt ourselves above God, for prayer is not a time to negotiate and demand things of God.
Our most effective prayers are said when we invite the Holy Spirit to inspire us and instill our words. Our prayers should always be in accordance with God's will; and if we ask, His Spirit will intercede for us and lead us in prayer (Romans 8:27). His Spirit knows how we should best pray for ourselves and others, and God takes great pleasure when His children become powerful prayer warriors and faithful intercessors.
May you pray for God, your Eternal Father to flood your prayers and heart with His love, peace, and wisdom, and that you would courageously heed His voice and submit to His will. Pray without ceasing, for the effective, fervent prayers of a righteous person avails much. Pray about everything and pray on all occasions. (1Thessalonians 5:17; James 5:16)
Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
