It's time for the children of God to answer the call of God so they can be greatly used by God.
A call to compassionately and courageously walk by faith in the grace of God's love, wisdom and strength - for this is the fullness of who we are and what we are called to do.
It's time for the children of God to stand in and for truth. It's time for the children of God to intimately know their Father, confidently trust Him, earnestly rever Him, and faithfully abide in His presence. For only when we experience the truth of who He is, are we able to answer the call by walking in the truth of who we are in Him - who He appointed and anointed us to be. We are children created in our Father's image and born to bear His light to the world (Acts 17:28; John 15:5).
It's time for God's sons and daughters to confidently live in the presence, peace and power of His Spirit vested in them. For the same Spirit that victoriously resurrected Jesus from the dead dwells in us and provides the required grace, strength, and wisdom to extend and reveal God's love and glory in every situation and to everyone we meet (Romans 8:11).
It's time to detach from the superficial ways of the world to victoriously overcome and better the world. It's time to live in the freedom and triumph of Jesus' resurrection, for we are not waiting to become anything but are already blessed by God to be all we need to be. We are God's powerful children validated, empowered and qualified by His Spirit.
It's time to courageously walk by faith under the wisdom, direction, and authority of God so that the world no longer guides our values, influences our thinking, controls our temperament and determines our outcome. It is time for us to serve God who is far greater than anything this world has to offer. It's time to live lives that glorify God the Great I Am (1 John 4:4; Exodus 3:14).
It's time for God's children to fearlessly and generously go into the world extending His Kingdom to it. His Kingdom of love, peace, truth, and hope. It's time to lovingly and powerfully submit to His plans, and continue the mission of Jesus by sharing His "good news" and healing truth throughout the world.
It's time to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by believing, asking, and working in His name. Jesus says " Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" (John 14:12-14).
Jesus' declaration seems unfathomable, and perhaps even blasphemous to consider farless to attempt - but this is the reason for our existence and Him commissioning us to do God’s will. Our life's purpose is to be faithful disciples, who work in the name of Jesus to lovingly and victoriously accomplish God's will and radiate His glory to every person and situation.
God entrusts His greatest assignments to His children that take Him at His word. Children who believe He is capable and faithful, and live lives fully submitted to Him and in anticipation of His promises victoriously coming to pass. Children who are not easily discouraged or deceived by circumstances because they know nothing is impossible with God and they trust Him (Isaiah 55:11; Matthew 19:26).
God desires children who have a personal relationship with their Father and believe He loves them. Children who pray without ceasing, whose faith is persistent and who by His grace persevere to conquer challenges and opposition. Children who do not sit by idly or conform to the world, but yield to God and stand steadfast in faith knowing their identity is found in Christ. Children who are confident that they are exactly who God says they are and can do what He says they can do.
Children who know they are wonderfully and fearfully created by the loving heart of God, and live in that truth to courageously offer their lives to Him (Psalm 139:14).
Children who boldly believe that they "can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens them" (Philippians 4:13), and refuse to allow His Spirit to lay dormant in their lives. Children who passionately pray and trust God to provide "rivers in the deserts and paths in the wastelands" (Isaiah 43:18-19). Children whose lives testify to His goodness and glory so that through them others experience Him and can be liberated by His love. Children who courageously rever and reflect their Father.
May the Holy Spirit invade and pervade your life so that you profoundly encounter the heart and presence of God. And may He overshadow and inspire you with every grace to humbly, fearlessly and powerfully honor God by submitting to His will and living in the intimacy, intricacy, and integrity of whose you are and who you are.
It's time for the children of God to courageously answer His call.
Jesus said: Peace be with you.
As the Father sent Me,
I am sending you.
